The Sydney Suburbs to Consider When Deciding Where to Build Your New Home

The Sydney Suburbs to Consider When Deciding Where to Build Your New Home

Mon 31st August

Many clients who choose to build their dream custom home begin with the knock down and rebuild of a property they’re already living in – but what if you haven’t settled on where you’d like to build just yet? You can choose to build anywhere with luxury custom home builders in Sydney such as Wincrest Bespoke, so we’ve compiled some of the top opportunities based on our local building experience to help show you how to choose a custom home builder.

The Northern Beaches

The Northern Beaches are home to some beautiful properties close to the water, and suburbs such as Palm Beach offer sloping sites that allow you to make the most of stunning views. Many builders won’t build on slopes of more than 1.5 metres, but specialist builders such as Wincrest Bespoke can build on slopes of up to 7 metres and more; maximising views and space while keeping earthwork costs to a minimum.  We recently completed a gorgeous tri-level custom home in Warriewood that captured the coastal vibe of this area. Brookvale is another promising suburb on the Northern Beaches right now, with council plans to create a commercial and entertainment hub in the area. The proposed Beaches Link motorway will provide even greater connection.

Upper & Lower North Shore

Sydney’s North Shore offers a diverse range of properties to choose from, including some of the city’s most desirable suburbs such as Mosman, Milsons Point and Crows Nest. The area is popular for good reason: water, parklands and quality schools abound. Our team has designed and built stunning custom homes in Turramurra and East Lindfield on the Upper North Shore, and in Northbridge and North Willoughby on the Lower North Shore. The North Shore also offers numerous older properties that would be ideal for a custom knock down and rebuild project.

Western Sydney

The Sydney Metro West project promises to add a high-speed connection between Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD, which adds to the already-strong appeal of the western suburbs. Parramatta and Blacktown now offer their own cultural hubs and local career opportunities, allowing you to enjoy a local lifestyle. Rosehill and Parramatta both score high in McCrindle’s Urban Living Indexand Harris Park offers excellent value for money in a fast-growing area close by.

Stay tuned for our new display home opening at HomeWorld Box Hill very soon, where you’ll be able to experience our build and design quality for yourself and find inspiration for your bespoke home.

Sutherland Shire and Southern Sydney

It’s no secret that the Sutherland Shire has a lot to offer in terms of lifestyle, with its coastal location and proximity to the Royal National Park. In recent years, young families and couples have flocked to areas such as Cronulla, Caringbah and Miranda. The area has plenty of older properties in prime locations that are well suited for knock down and rebuilds. Hurstville is also an area to consider, with an easy express commute to the CBD and some exciting development opportunities in older homes.

Custom Wincrest Bespoke homes can be found in many Sydney locations, from the Sutherland Shire in the south right up to the Central Coast. We specialise in sloping site builds, split-level homes and knock down and rebuilds amongst our services.
