Wincrest Turns 30

Wincrest Turns 30

This year Wincrest turns the big 3-0

It is such an incredible achievement and, if you ask me, one that’s kind of a big deal.

While I look forward to celebrating this successful milestone in the life of Wincrest, I can’t say I approached my own 30th with quite as much enthusiasm. Back then, turning 30 sounded old. Until I realised there was no point worrying about being 30 – as I’d quickly get over it when I hit 40!
Business or individual, turning 30 is great time of life and it should be celebrated!
Below are my top reasons why 30 is the new 20:

You’ve Got The Experience

By 30, you’ve acquired a fair amount of skill and knowledge. You know what you’re doing and you’ve got what it takes to get where you are going. It is a result of years of experience.

The same can be said for the home building industry. When looking for a new home builder, look for a company with vast experience and understanding. While the name “Wincrest Homes” was established in 1986, our heritage dates back to those who founded the business back in the 1950s. Affectionately known as “The Old Boys” they started building new homes in Sydney over 50 years ago. So, we really do have a lifetime of experience behind us!

You Take Nothing For Granted

By 30, you no longer take things for granted. And we don’t do it at Wincrest either!  We know it is our clients who helped us notch up three decades. We also know they are the ones who can take it all away. That is why we always ask ourselves if the decisions we make are in the best interests of our clients. It is the key to longevity in this business.

You Get Better With Age

The one thing I noticed when I turned 30 was that life just kept getting better. Well, the same can be said for business. Fifty years ago, our family was building red today, Wincrest stands proud as one of NSW’s most experienced and well-renowned home builders designing and building modern family homes in Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, and the Hunter.

You’re Trustworthy

No one makes it to 30 without being open and straightforward in their business dealings. Clients would see right through you, otherwise.
We’ve always believed in honest, direct and transparent communication in all we do. Especially when it comes to pricing. That’s why we offer fixed price contracts – our way of helping clients prepare their new home budget and avoid nasty surprises later.

You Try New Things

Don’t be scared to do something different. By 30 you have a lifetime of experience behind you that can help you make more informed decisions.

Wincrest took a risk in becoming the first major Sydney builder to offer a two-story home built with a steel frame. It paid off with Wincrest now considered the industry expert in steel framed homes.

You Constantly Evolve

At Wincrest, we are constantly evolving, introducing new things each year to ensure we meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. In the past couple of years we have introduced Wincrest VIP service (to make sure every client feels like a rock star!) as well as guaranteed build times and fixed price contracts.

You Know What You Stand For

By 30 you know what you stand for. Building homes is our passion. That is why we stand by every one of the homes we proudly build under the Wincrest brand. It is also why so many clients choose to build with Wincrest time and time again

Here at Wincrest, we are proud to be turning 30. It is a privilege not afforded by many businesses in our industry. A huge thank you must go to everyone who helped make it possible. To my team at Wincrest, thank you for your dedication, support and unwavering focus on customer service. As a team, you always look ahead and serve as a reminder that 30 is just the beginning. To our wonderful clients – past and present – thank you for choosing Wincrest to build your dream home. Without you, we wouldn’t be here today. Finally, thanks to our faithful team of tradesmen and suppliers who get the houses built.

I cannot wait to see what the next 30 years bring. I truly believe the best is yet to come.
