But the real deciding factor was Wincrest’s fixed price. “Wincrest were up front with their dealings with us with no hidden extras.
“That made the decision easier as we had a certain price range to stay within, like most people,” said Natalie.
They chose the popular two storey design, the Opal, which they were able to design to fit on their narrow block at the same price as the standard project home.
The 34 square design has four bedrooms, two and half bathrooms, a study, a modern kitchen with walk in pantry and spacious family and living areas. There is also a choice of four facades to ensure individuality in the neighbourhood.
“We liked the open design of the Opal most of all. We wanted a home that was open all through the ground floor and gave family and friends a feeling of welcomeness.
“Wincrest provided “old style” customer service at every point when making a decision, a payment or in general communication. They gave a nice family feel assurance. This was a huge relief right throughout the process, “Natalie added.
The original, old home on the site was a single level dwelling with two bedrooms and a study. Consideration was given to renovating but when costs were taken into account it was decided to start with a clean slate and a brand new home.
“We always felt comfortable and relaxed with the Wincrest family atmosphere. They were very professional and welcoming and our constant questions were never considered silly.
“Our emails were answered within 24 hours so we never had to chase anything. Our site supervisor, Harry, was unreal and straight to the point. At our request he called us every two weeks to give us an update on how things were going and what stage was coming up next.
“We only had two minor issues which were sorted out onsite. Again, the open communication we enjoyed with Wincrest was a major factor in the smoothness of the project,” Jason contributed.
According to Jason and Natalie the workmanship and attention to detail was exactly as they were told it would be. If there was even slight confusion a single call was made and their minds put to rest.
“We have had a huge number of people stop and ask questions and when shown through the house they loved its openness. We know at least one couple have signed up with Wincrest as a result”.
Natalie and Jason are enjoying living with their three boys in their brand new home. Currently they are finishing off the landscaping. The entertainment area offers a greater social lifestyle that Natalie and Jason were looking for.
They reckon the parents threw a party when Natalie Jason and the boys moved out!
